THE BIOGRAPHY OF NIKOLA LUTZ
Nikola, saxophonist trained in Bordeaux and Stuttgart, won in 2010 the 1st Prize and the Audience Prize at the International Competition of Paris.
She stands out for her commitment to contemporary creation, blending improvisation and electronics. Professor at the HMDK Stuttgart, she performs worldwide.
➤ Trained in saxophone in Bordeaux and Stuttgart, Nikola establishes herself as an innovative and committed musician.
➤ Winner of the 1st Prize and the Audience Prize at the International Saxophone Competition of Paris in 2010.
➤ Her international tours have taken her to North and South America, Asia, and Europe.
➤ She actively promotes contemporary creation for saxophone, with numerous world premieres and recordings released on Kairos and Wergo.
➤ Her universe combines contemporary music, improvisation, and electronic extensions applied to her instrumental performance.
