THE BENEFITS OF THE JLV MOUTHPIECE COVER
A PROTECTED REED
Its wrap-around design protects the reed and mouthpiece during transport and storage.
BETTER HYGIENE
Its open design allows air to circulate and promotes drying after play.
AN ELEGANT ENSEMBLE
Two understated finishes, designed to complement the aesthetic of your JLV Ligature.
PROTECT WITHOUT SUFFOCATING
The JLV mouthpiece cap protects the most sensitive part of your equipment without trapping moisture.
Handcrafted in France, it fits directly into the JLV ligature once the ligature is installed on the mouthpiece with the reed.
Sound matters. So does protection.

Review submitted by Marino GALLUZZO - I love the mouthpiece covers and how they fit into the ligature. I am wondering if the soprano saxophone cover is supposed to be the same size as the alto. It seems to long for the Selmer Concept soprano saxophone mouthpiece. The product is beautifully made and looks great on the instrument.

Review submitted by Guy REMAUD - This mouthpiece cap is original and quite practical. However, you must be very careful to remove it without dismantling the ligature itself. The ligature and mouthpiece cap combination is very elegant and stylish, but above all, the sound is very satisfying.

Review submitted by Christian BONICHI - Hello, the mouthpiece covers are also very good, except for the metal baritone mouthpiece cover which is too short. Kind regards, Christian Bonichi.

Review submitted by Mireille ALBUGUES - I find the mouthpiece cover really too long compared to my Selmer S90 170 mouthpiece, even once tightened. It really deserves to be shortened.

Review submitted by Mireille ALBUGUES - I have an old version ligature. There is not much room for maneuver but it fits well on my Vandoren M30 mouthpiece. Being asthmatic my air column is insufficient and I have only been practicing since my retirement so the musculature is more difficult to do than for someone young, I suppose. All the same I take a lot of pleasure and manage to play in a small amateur formation and a harmony. I felt a lot of improvement in the emission of sounds and even in the sound it seems to me, even compared to my Optimum ligature which is already very good. The small downside comes from the tightening screw which forces a little and the upper tips of the base which oxidize very (too) quickly.
