➤ Sergey Kolesov, considered the greatest Russian saxophonist today, leads an intense international career as a concert artist and pedagogue across Europe, America, and Asia.
➤ In 2006, he became the first Russian musician in history to win the Grand Prize at the International Adolphe Sax Competition in Dinant (Belgium) and represented Russia again at the 2019 edition.
➤ An official Yamaha artist (Japan) and D’Addario artist (USA), he graduated from the Gnesin Academy of Music in the class of Margarita Shaposhnikova.

• 1st Prize – Salieri-Zinetti International Chamber Music Competition (Verona, 2010)

➤ As a professor at Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory, he trains numerous saxophonists who today hold major positions worldwide.
➤ Founder and artistic director of major projects in Russia, including the International Saxophone Competition “The Voice of the Saxophone in the Modern World”, he also organizes masterclasses bringing together world-renowned musicians.
