THE BIOGRAPHY OF SHI XUEQI
Shi Xueqi, Chinese classical saxophonist trained in Italy under Federico Mondelci, performs on European and Asian stages. Winner of numerous national and international competitions, he performs as a soloist, in chamber music, and with orchestra.
His international career reflects a constant commitment to promoting the classical saxophone.
➤ Shi Xueqi, Chinese classical saxophonist, graduated from the Conservatorio “G. Rossini” di Pesaro (Italy) in the class of Federico Mondelci.
➤ Considered one of the most outstanding representatives of the conservatory, he was selected for two consecutive years to participate in the “Concerto Finale”, representing the school in public concerts.
➤ With over 50 concerts performed across Europe and Asia, he appears both as a soloist in Italian theatres and with saxophone quartets and symphony orchestras.
➤ He actively participates in international events and festivals such as the Fermo International Saxophone Art Festival, the ALA International Saxophone Workshop, and the 17th World Saxophone Congress in Zagreb.
