THE BIOGRAPHY OF TONGJIA HU
➤ HU Tongjia, Chinese saxophonist born on December 7, 1991, began learning the saxophone in France in 2012 in the class of Philippe Portejoie.
➤ In 2017, he entered the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of Alain Crepin.
➤ He took part in the European Saxophone University workshop and trained with renowned pedagogues such as Claude Delangle, Vincent David, and Daniel Gauthier.
➤ He is currently pursuing his saxophone performance studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Vincent David.
➤ A member of the Quatuor Art Sax, he is also the artistic director of the S.F. Ensemble de saxophones Louriçalense.
HIS SAXOPHONE EQUIPMENT
The JLV ligature gives me a sound of extreme flexibility, a free sound, and quick response.
I found it very easy to produce the low notes, the intervals, and the roundness of the sound is very beautiful.
It is truly the best ligature I have ever used.
