Csaba Pálfi is a versatile clarinetist, an active chamber musician, and an orchestral performer. He is the bass clarinet soloist of the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra and co-founder of the Weiner Ensemble.
He has performed on international stages, including the Encuentro de Música de Santander, the Aldeburgh Music Festival, and the Orlando Festival.
At these prestigious events, he has shared the stage with remarkable musicians such as Alexandra Tirsu, Josu de Solaun, Iliya Kondratiev, Wolfram Christ, Hansjörg Schellenberger, Radovan Vlatković, Felix Renggli, Chen Halevi, and Nicholas Daniel.
Csaba Pálfi is assistant professor of clarinet at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest. In addition to his teaching duties, he has given masterclasses in Italy, Spain, North Macedonia, Japan, and South Korea. He is also a regular guest lecturer at the MiraTone International Chamber Music Festival.
