Diego García VARGAS, originally from Calañas (Huelva), began his musical studies at the CEM Antonio Garrido Gamonoso, before continuing at the CPM Javier Perianes of Huelva, and later earning his Higher Diploma in Music at the RCSM Victoria Eugenia of Granada, specializing in performance – saxophone.
He then furthered his training at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with a postgraduate degree in saxophone under the guidance of renowned saxophonist Arno Bornkamp. A prizewinner of the CPM Javier Perianes Soloist Competition and the Gran Canaria Saxophone Competition – Villa de Teror (2nd Prize in both), he has distinguished himself on the national stage.
To enrich his training, Diego García has taken masterclasses with great saxophonists such as Vincent David, Koryun Asatryan, Nikita Zimin, Nicolas Arsenijevic, Miguel Ángel Lorente, Alberto Sáez, and Mariano García.
