A Musical and Artistic Journey Enriched by Diversity
Trained under Pierre Bourque and Jean Bouchard at the Conservatories of Music in Quebec and Rimouski, she deepened her skills in both musical interpretation and artistic management. Her talent and commitment have earned her several distinctions, including grants from the CALQ, the Fonds Jeunesse des Caisses Desjardins, and the Fonds des artistes et artisans de la MRC du Kamouraska.
In parallel, she develops innovative educational and cultural projects:
➤ “La musique c’est scientifique”, a workshop created with clarinetist Rino Bélanger, exploring the link between instruments and science.
➤ Since 2005, she has hosted talks to prepare and enrich the audience’s listening experience at classical concerts held at the Centre culturel de Rivière-du-Loup.
A Multidisciplinary Artistic Commitment
Fascinated by the fusion of arts, she produced, together with organist Jacques Boucher, a book-disc in collaboration with:
➤ Miguel Forest (painter)
➤ Caroline Bolieu (photographer)
➤ Odile Thibault (writer)
➤ Dominique Joubert (composer)
This project offers an artistic and musical perspective on the landscapes of Kamouraska.
Passionate about cultural heritage, she created a show inspired by the rogations, an ancient rural tradition from the early 20th century.
Recordings and Musical Creations
Her duo with Jacques Boucher stands out for its unique fusion of the sound colors of the saxophone and organ. Together, they have recorded:
➤ Four albums
➤ Four video clips
Their artistic chemistry and the sensitivity of their interpretations make their collaboration a distinctive and memorable signature.
