Paco Lee, a saxophonist born in Hong Kong and now based in London, is pursuing his training at the Royal College of Music under Kyle Horch.
Recently, he distinguished himself by performing the saxophone solo from Paul Hindemith’s Symphony in B-flat with the RCM Wind Orchestra, conducted by David Gordon-Shute.
He began the saxophone at the age of six with Maurice Poon, then joined the Junior Programme of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where he studied with Martin Choy.
During these years, he played in the Junior Wind Band and stood out as a guest soloist with the Junior Symphony Orchestra in 2018 in Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky.
He obtained ABRSM Grade 8 with distinction at just ten years old, then his LTCL with distinction two years later.

A committed chamber musician, he is the baritone saxophonist of the Risoluto Quartet, winner of the RCM Wind Ensemble June Emerson Launchpad Prize.
With this ensemble, he recently gave the world premiere of Spate, by Scottish composer Robert Baird.
