THE BIOGRAPHY OF NAHIKARI OLORIZ
Spanish saxophonist with an international career, Nahikari Oloriz Maya stands out for her expressive playing, technical mastery, and commitment to contemporary creation.
Winner of numerous prestigious competitions and supported by several renowned foundations, she embodies a new generation of virtuosic saxophonists.
Nahikari Oloriz Maya began her musical studies in Spain and obtained her Bachelor’s degree at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) with Nacho Gascón.
She continued her training in France, earning her Diplôme d’Études Musicales (DEM) at the CRR de Versailles in the class of Vincent David, before joining the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), where she completed her Master in the class of Claude Delangle.
Distinctions and Support
An artist with an international career, Nahikari has won numerous competitions in Andorra, Spain, Germany, and Ukraine, notably receiving 2nd Prize at the prestigious Enkor International Competition.
