THE BIOGRAPHY OF SALVATORE ALESSANDRO MICELI
A virtuoso and passionate saxophonist, Salvatore Alessandro Miceli is already establishing himself as one of the rising figures of his generation.
Winner of prestigious competitions and invited to perform on the world’s greatest stages, he combines technical excellence, artistic commitment, and creative curiosity.
Born in Palermo in 2000, Salvatore Alessandro Miceli is a classical saxophonist with an already rich career, crowned with international success.
He began his studies at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “V. Bellini” in Caltanissetta in the class of Frederico Alba, where he obtained his first and second-level diplomas with the highest grade, 110/110 cum laude with special mention.
He then continued his training:
➤ at the PESMD of Bordeaux in the class of Marie Bernadette Charrier, obtaining the Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien (DNSPM) with the distinction “très bien” and the Diplôme d’État de Professeur de Musique (DE) – Saxophone.
➤ at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Vincent David.
➤ then at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), where he is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in classical saxophone in the class of Nicolas Arsenijevic.

He has enriched his studies with great international masters, including:

Salvatore Alessandro Miceli has performed as a soloist, in duo with piano, and within chamber music ensembles in Italy and internationally. Among his notable performances:
➤ Solo concerts with the Deutsche Philharmonie Merck Symphony Orchestra (Darmstadt, 2024) and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Staatstheater Cottbus (2024).
➤ Concert with the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France at the Philharmonie de Paris (2025).
➤ AEOLUS laureates concert at the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf, as soloist with the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vitali Alekseenok.
➤ Quartet with Asya Fateyeva (Frankfurt, Alzenau).
➤ Concerts for Arosa Kultur (Arosa, Chur, Zurich).
➤ Contemporary creation at the Festival ORGUE&nd, Passiò pel vent! (Andorra, 2024).
➤ Erasmus Project European Winds II in Nicosia (Cyprus, 2024).
➤ World Saxophone Congress 2023 (Brussels): in duo and with the ensemble of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
