Before the JLV ligature, I never imagined that such a simple accessory could trigger such a revelation.
In just a few minutes, I discovered a new sound, incredible harmonics, and remarkably clean articulation.
Since that day, I can no longer do without it!
THE BIOGRAPHY OF FRANCESCO LOIACONO
He graduated in saxophone from the "N. Piccinni" Conservatory in Bari, where he studied under Fabio Sammarco, before continuing his training with Marco Gerboni.
He then dedicated himself to an intense chamber music activity, first with the Fandango Sax Quartet, and later with Eclectic Duo (saxophone and piano), a project focused on music from the second half of the 20th century and contemporary music.
For several years, he has regularly collaborated with the Petruzzelli Theatre Orchestra, as well as with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra and the Metropolitan City of Bari Symphony Orchestra, with which he has performed as a soloist on works by Glazunov and Borne. He has worked under the direction of renowned conductors such as Renato Palumbo, Michele Marvulli, Giampaolo Bisanti, Gunther Neuhold, Nir Kabaretti, Luis Bacalov, Marco Angius, Grzegorz Nowak, and Sascha Goetzel.
He has also performed alongside Pino Minafra & La Banda at prestigious European festivals and in renowned concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonie, the Gasteig in Munich, the Auditorium La Seine Musicale and Basilica of Saint-Denis in Paris, the Opéra de Lille, and the Helmut List Halle in Graz.
Since 2017, he has been teaching the subject “Performance and Interpretation – Saxophone” at the National Boarding School “Cirillo” Music High School in Bari.
In 2020, IMD (International Music Diffusion) published his transcription of Fantaisie sur un thème original by Jules Demersseman for alto saxophone solo and saxophone ensemble.
He is currently Professor of Saxophone at the "E. R. Duni" Conservatory in Matera.

Before trying the JLV ligature, I never imagined that a simple accessory could have such an impact on my sound.
It only took a few minutes of testing to realize that I had something truly exceptional in my hands.
It’s hard to put into words what I felt, but it was obvious: a new quality of sound, harmonics of incredible intensity, all while maintaining an unprecedented softness.
From the very first notes, I also noticed a more clear and precise articulation.
Since I tried it, I simply can’t do without it anymore!
