THE BIOGRAPHY OF KALLE OITTINEN
Finnish saxophonist, passionate and renowned educator, Kalle Oittinen combines classical performance, contemporary creation, and high-level teaching.
A member of prestigious ensembles and co-artistic director of the Pirkanmaa Saxophone Festival, he stands out as a key figure in the Finnish saxophone scene.
Kalle Oittinen is a classical saxophonist and educator based in Tampere, Finland.
He serves as Lecturer of Saxophone at the Tampere Conservatoire and also teaches at two prestigious institutions: Tampere University of Applied Sciences and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki.
A Passionate and Versatile Performer
An active and eclectic musician, Kalle regularly performs in both classical and contemporary repertoire.
He collaborates with ensembles such as:

➤ Tampere Philharmonic
➤ And other prestigious ensembles
Alongside his performance career, he is co-artistic director of the Pirkanmaa Saxophone Festival, a major event celebrating the saxophone through concerts, masterclasses, and educational projects.
