Born on January 10, 1999, Giuseppe Olivieri began studying the saxophone at a very young age.
In 2015, he was admitted with the highest distinction to the Conservatory of Music “Luisa D’Annunzio” in Pescara, in the class of Professor Gaetano Di Bacco. He obtained his Master’s degree in saxophone with the highest mark of 110/110 with honors.

Giuseppe Olivieri is the winner of 13 first prizes in national and international competitions, including:
➤ 5th Young Performers Competition – Absolute First Prize with scholarship.
➤ 1st International Competition “Sante Centurione” – Absolute First Prize, scholarship and ARTENSAMBLE mention.
➤ 1st and 2nd Chamber Music Competitions “Bruno Mezzena” – Absolute First Prize with scholarship.
➤ International Competition “Coop Music Awards” in Cremona (2018) – Special “Carlo Galante” Prize for the best interpretation of a contemporary work.
In 2021, he won the national “Thomas Kuti” Competition organized by the Lions Club, thus representing Italy at the international final in Thessaloniki (Greece).

Artistic commitment and chamber music
Member and artistic director of the Tetra Saxophone Quartet, with which he has organized numerous critically acclaimed concerts.
Through his chamber music projects, he actively contributes to the promotion of saxophone ensemble playing.
