Tomislav Žužak (1978) is one of the most renowned saxophonists in Croatia.
An artist with exceptional performance technique, he cultivates a wide repertoire blending various styles, with a particular focus on contemporary music.
Graduated from the Zagreb Music Academy in the class of Dragan Sremec, Tomislav Žužak continued his training at the Conservatoire de Paris with Jean-Yves Fourmeau and Philippe Portejoie.
He enriched his artistic journey through workshops led by world-renowned maestros: Jean-Marie Londeix, Eugène Rousseau, and Claude Delangle.
A versatile artist, Tomislav Žužak has given numerous chamber music recitals and solo concerts with orchestra.
He has recorded several albums with his saxophone quartet as well as solo recordings.
Since 2008, he has been actively involved as a member of the Papandopulo Quartet, performing regularly on national and international stages.
A prize-winner of several competitions in Croatia and abroad, he is also a recognized pedagogue.
Today, Tomislav Žužak teaches saxophone at the University of Zagreb, the University of Sarajevo, and the Samobor Music School.
He is also the founder and co-organizer of the Jaska Saxophone School, while leading workshops for the Croatian Youth Music Association.
