Clara Arce Martínez, Spanish saxophonist, studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castilla-La Mancha under Antonio Felipe Belijar and Claude Delangle, earning her saxophone degree with highest honors in 2019.
She furthered her education with a Master in Musical Research at the International University of Valencia and a Master in Instrumental Pedagogy at Universidad Alfonso X “El Sabio” in Madrid.
Prizewinner of multiple national and international competitions, she earned 1st prize at Concurso Nacional “Jóvenes Intérpretes Ciutat de Xàtiva” (2020), 2nd prize at Buffet Crampon International Competition (Portugal 2017), and was a finalist at Gran Premio Povoletto International Competition (Italy 2021).
In 2016, with the Rhombus Ensemble, she received a special mention at the Cofrentes Chamber Music Competition.
As a soloist and chamber musician, Clara has performed with prestigious ensembles such as the Orchestra of the Conservatorio Castilla-La Mancha, the Saxophone Ensemble, and the San Marco Wind Band, giving concerts across Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, and France, including international festivals and concert series.
She is currently a member of the Rhombus Ensemble and the Trio Iris, pursuing an intense musical activity.
Since 2020, Clara has been saxophone professor at the Conservatoire Santa Cecilia de Cullera and the Conservatoire Vicent Vera de Sueca, and she is invited to give masterclasses in Spain and Italy, sharing her expertise with the next generation of saxophonists.
