THE BIOGRAPHY OF NICO CHIRICHELLA
Nico CHIRICHELLA, saxophonist and pedagogue, stands out for his artistic excellence and commitment to contemporary creation.
As a soloist and member of the Duo AlterEgo and the AlGoRhythm Ensemble, he enriches the saxophone repertoire with innovative projects.
Born in 1998, Nico CHIRICHELLA began his musical studies with Luigi Cioffi, then continued his training at the Conservatorio di Salerno with Roberto Favaro, where he obtained the Level II Academic Diploma with 110/110 cum laude and honors from the jury.
He then completed a Master’s in Investigation and Interpretation at the CSMA of Alicante under the direction of M° Sixto Herrero.
He is currently pursuing his studies at the CSMCLM of Albacete with Antonio Felipe Belijar, while teaching saxophone at a music college.
Over 20 works have already been composed especially for him, reflecting his influence in the contemporary repertoire.
A versatile artist, he pursues a career as a soloist and is preparing the recording of a new CD.
He also develops innovative artistic projects within the Duo AlterEgo and the AlGoRhythm Ensemble, exploring new sounds and forms of musical expression.
