Currently based in Italy, Caroline is an American freelance saxophonist and teacher.

Competitions and awards
Winner of first prizes both as a soloist (University of Georgia Concerto Competition) and in chamber music (Premio delle Arti – Chamber Music Division, Italy), Caroline has established herself on the international stage.
She has also participated and performed in multiple editions of the World Saxophone Congress and the North American Saxophone Alliance.
In 2023, she was selected as one of only five musicians for the artistic residency Changes with Swedish composer Ellen Arkbro, performing a series of concerts throughout Italy.
Artistic activity
A passionate chamber musician, Caroline gave the European premiere of David Maslanka’s Concerto for Saxophone Quartet and Wind Ensemble with the Mestizo Quartet, conducted by Lorenzo Passerini. She is currently the tenor saxophonist of the Gershwin Quintet, an all-female ensemble (saxophone quartet + piano) specializing in the music of George Gershwin.
As an orchestral saxophonist, she has collaborated with the Orchestra Senzaspine and the Orchestra La Corelli.
Teaching and organization
Caroline is a saxophone professor at the Malerbi School of Music in Lugo and at the Officina della Musica in Ravenna.
She also contributes to the organization of the International Sax Arts Festival and the Associazione Fattorini / Festival Ulysses.
