THE BIOGRAPHY OF KIM DAEGYUN
Kim Daegyun is a South Korean clarinetist from Busan, trained under renowned musicians.
His solid academic background and diverse influences shape an expressive and refined playing style.
A young talent to watch, he stands out as an emerging voice on the clarinet in Korea.
Kim Daegyun, South Korean clarinetist born on January 21, 1992 in Busan, discovered the clarinet in 2008 at Bogwang High School under Kim Eun-Young, member of the Busan Symphonic Band.
After graduating in 2009, he joined in 2010 Kyungsung University in Busan to study with Yoon-Doo Hyun (member of the Busan Philharmonic Orchestra) and Son-Ki-Young (principal clarinet of the Ulsan Philharmonic Orchestra).
Driven by a deep passion for music, he developed a playing style combining technical mastery and artistic sensitivity, laying the foundations for a promising career on the Korean and international music scene.
